PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE 

             AUGUST 15, 2001

A special meeting of the Public Infrastructure and Development Committee of the DeKalb County Board was held on Wednesday, August 15, 2001 at 7:00PM prior to the full Board Meeting.  Chairman Wilson called the meeting to order.

Committee members present were Chairman Wilson, Mr. Hoffman, Ms. LaVigne, Mr. Sands and Mr. McLaughlin.  Mrs. Casella, Mr. Smith and Mr. Guehler were absent. Mr. Lorence, County Engineer, also attended.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

Mr. McLaughlin moved to approve the agenda as presented, Mr. Sands seconded.

Motion carried unanimously.

LETTING RESULTS:

A resolution was presented awarding two contracts to the low bidders, 1) to Johnson Contracting for paving of the County Highway Department parking lots in the amount of $87,436.00, and 2) to Cooling Landscaping for the planting of trees and shrubs at the new facility in the amount of $7680.00.

Motion by Mr. McLaughlin to approve the award to both low bidders, Mr. Sands seconded.  Motion carried unanimously.

ADJOURNMENT:

Motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Sands, seconded by Mr. McLaughlin.  Motion carried unanimously and the meeting so adjourned.
