A special meeting of the Public Infrastructure and Development Committee of the DeKalb County Board was held on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 at 7:00PM prior to the full Board Meeting. Chairman Wilson called the meeting to order.

Committee members present were Chairman Wilson, Ms. LaVigne, Mr. Sands, Mr. Smith and Mr. McLaughlin. Mrs. Casella, Mr. Hoffman and Mr. Guehler were absent. Mr. Lorence, County Engineer, also attended.

Mr. Smith moved to approve the agenda as presented, Mr. McLaughlin seconded.
Motion carried unanimously.

In action necessary to finalize the obtaining of right-of-way from the CC&P Railroad for the relocation and construction of the overpass northwest of Genoa on Genoa Road, a resolution was presented. The resolution authorized the Chairman of the Board to sign the permanent easement. This easement grants permission to the County to utilize CC&P property for this relocation project.

Motion to grant authorization to the Chair to sign the permanent easement was made by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. McLaughlin. Motion carried unanimously.

Motion to adjourn was made by Mr. McLaughlin, seconded by Ms. LaVigne. Motion carried unanimously and the meeting so adjourned.
