	Minutes of the Forest Preserve District Proceedings February 20, 2002

The DeKalb County Forest Preserve Commissioners met at the DeKalb County Courthouse on Wednesday, February 20, 2002. President Pritchard called the meeting to order and the Secretary called the roll. Those Commissioners present were Mrs. Allen, Mr. Barr, Dr. Conway, Mr. Dlabal, Mrs. Dubin, Mr. Guehler, Mr. Hoffman, Mr. Hutcheson, Ms. LaVigne, Mrs. Leifheit, Mr. Lyle, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Sands, Mr. Simonson, Mr. Smith, Mr. Steimel, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Wilson, and President Pritchard. Those Commissioners absent were Mr. Brown, Mrs. Casella, Mr. Haines and Mr. Morreale. Twenty Commissioners were present and four Commissioners were absent.

Mr. Simonson moved to approve the Minutes of the January 16, 2002 meeting. Mr. Hoffman seconded the motion.

The President called for a voice vote on the approval of the Minutes. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

 

Mr. Smith moved to approve the agenda and Mr. Dlabal seconded the motion.

The President asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Agenda. Motion carried unanimously.

 

Mr. Guehler moved to accept a Resolution approving a bid award to LaBeau Borthers Inc., from Kankakee, IL for a 2002 GMC 4 wheel drive 3/4 ton truck with snowplow at a cost of $21,967.00. Mr. Dlabal seconded the motion.

The President called for a roll call vote on the Resolution. Those Commissioners voting yea were Mrs. Allen, Mr. Barr, Dr. Conway, Mr. Dlabal, Mrs. Dubin, Mr. Guehler, Mr. Hoffman, Mr. Hutcheson, Ms. LaVigne, Mrs. Leifheit, Mr. Lyle, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Sands, Mr. Simonson, Mr. Smith, Mr. Steimel, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Wilson and President Pritchard. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

 

 

 

Mr. Guehler moved to approve the current months Claims in the amount of $16,010.90 and Payroll & Emergency Claims paid from prior month in the amount of $17,270.14. Mr. Metzger seconded the motion.

The President called for a roll call vote on the Claims. The Commissioners voting yea were Mrs. Allen, Mr. Barr, Dr. Conway, Mr. Dlabal, Mrs. Dubin, Mr. Guehler, Mr. Hoffman, Mr. Hutcheson, Ms. LaVigne, Mrs. Leifheit, Mr. Lyle, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Sands, Mr. Simonson, Mr. Smith, Mr. Steimel, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Wilson and President Pritchard. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

 

There were no items of old or new business for this meeting.

Mr. Lyle moved to adjourn the meeting. Dr. Conway seconded the motion.

The President called for a voice vote on the motion to adjourn. All Commissioners present voted. yea. Motion carried unanimously.
