Minutes of the
Special Meeting of
|
A special meeting of the Public Infrastructure and Development committee of the DeKalb County Board met on Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at 7:00 P.M. in the East Conference Room of the County Administration Building. Chairman Wilson called the meeting to order.
Committee
members present were Chairman Wilson, Mr. Smith, Mr. Sands, and
Mr. McLaughlin. Also present
were William Lorence, County Engineer.
APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION
FOR BID LETTING: SEC. 01-12129-00-BR AND SEC. 01-02131-00-BR
Motion
made by Mr. Sands to award to the low bidder meeting specifications, Ladd
Construction Company, the bridge replacement on Hinckley Road over Battle Creek
in Pierce Road District, Sec. 01-12129-00-BR in the amount of two hundred
fourteen thousand two hundred seventy-four dollars and thirty cents
($214,274.30); and D. R. Gilbert & Sons, Inc the replacement of a concrete
box culvert on Preserve Road in Clinton Road District, Sec. 01-02131-00-BR in
the amount of one hundred fourteen thousand seven hundred twenty-four dollars
and sixty cents ($114,724.60). Mr.
McLaughlin seconded. Motion carried
unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mr.
Smith moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Sands.
Motion carried unanimously and the June 19, 2002 special meeting
adjourned at 7:05 P.M.
