R E S O L U T I O N 

     WHEREAS, bids have been invited for improvements on various roads in DeKalb County, and

     WHEREAS, Aurora Blacktop Inc. of Montgomery, Illinois; Johnson Blacktop of Elburn, Illinois; Peter Baker & Sons of Lake Bluff, Illinois; Curran Contracting of DeKalb, Illinois and Preform Traffic Control Systems of Des Plains, Illinois have submitted the low bids meeting specifications,

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the DeKalb County Board that it does approve the award as set forth herein below:

AURORA BLACKTOP, INC:

(a)    in the amount of fifty six thousand five hundred forty six dollars and fifty cents ($56,546.50) for the resurfacing of Shabbona Grove Road in Clinton Road District, Section 03-02000-00-GM and

(b)   in the amount of seventy-nine thousand seven hundred sixty one dollars and no cents ($79,761.00) for the resurfacing of Hinckley Road in Squaw Grove Road District, Section 03-17000-00-GM, and

(c)    in the amount of seventy thousand eight hundred twenty seven dollars and fifty cents ($70,827.50) for the resurfacing of South County Line Road in Victor Road District, Section 03-19105-01-WR,

JOHNSON BLACKTOP, INC:

(a)     in the amount of fifty two thousand five hundred ten dollars and no cents ($52,510.00) for the resurfacing of South Malta Road in Malta Road District, Section 03-08000-00-GM, 

PETER BAKER & SONS INC:

(a)     in the amount of fifty five thousand one hundred eighty four dollars and fifty cents ($55,184.50) for the resurfacing of Northwood, Willow and Melms Roads in Genoa Road District Section 03-06000-00-GM, and

(b)    in the amount of ninety two thousand two hundred twenty one dollars and seventy five cents ($92,221.75) for the resurfacing of Five Points Road in Kingston Road District, Section 03-07000-00-GM,

CURRAN CONTRACTING:

(a)     in the amount of seven hundred nine thousand eight hundred two dollars and fifty cents ($709,802.50) for the resurfacing of East County Line and Kirkland Roads in DeKalb County, Section 03-00000-01-GM,

PREFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEMS, LTD.

(a)    in the amount of one hundred fifty six thousand nine hundred nineteen dollars and no cents ($156,919.00) for pavement striping of various roads in DeKalb County and Road Districts, Section 03-00000-03-GM
