2. Approval of Agenda -- Mr. Nicklas moved to approve the agenda, seconded by Ms. Morphey, and the motion passed unanimously.

3. Approval of Minutes -- Mr. Rasmussen moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Mr. Pardridge, and the motion passed unanimously.

Status of Unified Comprehensive Plan/Model UDO Project

Mr. Miller began by noting that the packet for this evening contains a June 16, 2003 memorandum documenting the progress made to date by the various municipalities on their Comprehensive Plans. He made note that Sycamore has completed it’s Comprehensive Plan. He further noted that all the municipalities were making progress and that the Staff is meeting monthly and also working with the individual municipalities to keep the momentum going on the process. With respect to the County, a presentation was made last month to the Planning and Regulations Committee of the County Board. He noted that there will be additional information presented to that Committee at their July meeting. That presentation will revisit goals, update demographics, acknowledge the Unified Comprehensive Plan process and that part that the County has played to date. He further noted that there will likely not be a large number of County hearings held on this matter
