Chairman Tobias called the workshop to order. Those Members present were Mr. Whelan, Ms. Vary, Mrs. Turner, Mr. Sands, Mr. Osborne, Ms. Fauci, Vince Faivre, Mrs. Dubin and Chairman Tobias.

Chairman Tobias introduced two gentleman who represent The Ferguson Group. Roger Gwinn and Trent Lehman each gave a background of themselves and then explained The Ferguson Group.

The Company specializes in securing federal appropriations for their clients. Their areas of expertise include transportation, water resources, land use, environmental issues, defense conversion, health and human services, criminal justice, education and housing.

Some of their services include:
1. Developing strategies to accomplish defined goals.
2. Assist in preparation of finding requests to Congress.
3. Serve as the liaison to congressional delegations.
4. Provide periodic reports.
5. Draft letters of support to ensure the success of the clients goals and objectives.

Chairman Tobias adjourned the workshop and thanked all those present for their time and interest.
