The DeKalb County Forest Preserve District Commissioners met in regular session at the Legislative Center on Wednesday, December 17, 2008. President Larry Anderson called the meeting to order and the Clerk called the roll. Those Commissioners present were Ken Andersen, Larry Andersen, Mr. Augsburger, Mr. Chambliss, Mrs. De Fauw, Mr. Emerson, Ms. Fauci, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Haines, Mr. Hulseberg, Ms. LaVigne, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Newport, Mr. Oncken, Mr. Osborne, Mr. Stuckert, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Todd, Mrs. Turner, Ms. Vary, Mr. Walt and Mrs. Allen. Those Commissioners absent were Mrs. Dubin, Mr. Stoddard and President Tobias. Twenty-one Commissioners were present and three Commissioners were absent.

In the absence of President Tobias, Vice President Andersen conducted the meeting.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion
Mrs. Turner moved to approve the Minutes of the November 19, 2008 and December 1, meetings. Ms. Fauci seconded the motion.
Voice Vote
The President asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Minutes. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Motion
Mr. Stuckert moved to approve the agenda and Mr. Metzger seconded the motion.
Voice Vote
The President asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Agenda. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

BUSINESS
Claims
Ms Fauci moved to approve the current month Claims in the amount of $7,983.82; and Payroll Charges in the amount of $26,552.60 representing current claims and monies paid during the previous month that were not part of last month’s report, totaling l$34,536.42. Mr. Emerson seconded the motion.
Roll Call Vote
The President called for a roll call vote on the Claims. Those Commissioners voting yea were Ken Andersen, Larry Andersen, Mr. Augsburger, Mr. Chambliss, Mrs. De Fauw, Mr. Emerson, Ms. Fauci, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Haines, Mr. Hulseberg, Ms. LaVigne, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Newport, Mr. Oncken, Mr. Osborne, Mr. Stuckert, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Todd, Mrs. Turner, Ms. Vary, Mr. Walt and Mrs. Allen. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

Mrs. Turner moved to adjourn the meeting. Ken Andersen seconded the motion.
