DEKALB COUNTY VETERANS ASSISTANCE COMMISSION

NOVEMBER 9, 2010

The meeting started at 7:00 with Vice President, Mike Boorsma calling the meeting to order. There were 8 members in attendance.

There was no corporation financial report.

Herb Holderman gave the superintendents report. The commission assisted 22 Veterans with general assistance in the month of September. There were 7 trips to Madison. The total to approve was $9,797.61. In October the commission assisted 23 Veterans with general assistance and 7 trips to Madison. The total to approve was $10,118.66.
Jim Cox made the motion to approve Sept. and Oct. bills. This was seconded by Don Jones. Motion passed.

The Chambers after hours meeting went well. About 30 people came out for the event.
It was not as good as we would have liked but it went well.

There was some discussion on the budget\employee cuts, but Herb already took care of this and satisfied the board.

All is well.

Don Jones made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Jim Cox.

Meeting adjourned at 7:30.
