COUNTY FOREST PRESERVE PROCEEDINGS

January 19, 2011

The DeKalb County Forest Preserve District Commissioners met in regular session at the Legislative Center Wednesday, January 19, 2011. President Anderson called the meeting to order and the Secretary called the roll. Those Commissioners present were Mr. Augsburger, Mr. Brown, Mrs. DeFauw, Mr. Deverell, Mr. Emerson, Ms. Fauci, Mr. Foster, Mrs. Fullerton, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Hulseberg, Mr. Newport, Mr. Oncken, Mr. Reid, Mr. Stoddard, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Todd, Mrs. Turner, Mr. Tyson, Ms. Vary, Mr. Whelan, Mrs. Allen, Ken Andersen and President Anderson. One Commissioner, Mr. Metzger, was absent. Twenty three Commissioners were present and one was absent.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Motion

Mr. Tyson moved to approve the Minutes of both the Organizational Meeting from December 6, 2010 and the regular session meeting from December 15, 2010. Mr. Oncken seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

President Anderson asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Minutes. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

Motion

Ms. Vary moved to approve the agenda and Mrs. Tobias seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

President Anderson asked for a voice vote on the approval of the agenda. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

BUSINESS

Claims

Motion

Ms. Fauci moved to approve the current month Claims in the amount of $47,928.69. Emergency Claims in the amount of $10,500.00. Payroll Charges in the amount of $29,176.97 representing current claims and monies paid during the previous month that was not part of last month’s report, totaling $87,605.66. Mr. Hulseberg seconded the motion.

Roll Call Vote

President Anderson called for a roll call vote on the Claims. Those Commissioners voting yea were Mr. Augsburger, Mr. Brown, Mrs. DeFauw, Mr. Deverell, Mr. Emerson, Ms. Fauci, Mr. Foster, Mrs. Fullerton, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Hulseberg, Mr. Newport, Mr. Oncken, Mr. Reid, Mr. Stoddard, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Todd, Mrs. Turner, Mr. Tyson, Ms. Vary, Mr. Whelan, Mrs. Allen, Ken Andersen and President Anderson. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

There were no items of old business or new business.

ADJOURNMENT

Mr. Augsburger moved to adjourn the meeting and Mr. Gudmunson seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

President Anderson called for a voice vote on the adjournment. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.
