COUNTY FOREST PRESERVE PROCEEDINGS

June 15, 2011

The DeKalb County Forest Preserve District Commissioners met in regular session at the Legislative Center Wednesday, June 15, 2011.  President Anderson called the meeting to order and the Secretary called the roll.  Those Commissioners present were Ms. Fauci, Mr. Foster, Mrs. Fullerton, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Hulseberg, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Newport, Mr. Oncken, Mr. Reid, Mr. Stoddard, Mrs. Tobias, Mrs. Turner, Mr. Tyson, Ms. Vary, Mr. Whelan, Mrs. Allen, Ken Andersen, Mr. Augsburger, Mr. Brown, Mr. Cribben, Mrs. DeFauw, Mr. Emerson and President Anderson.  All Commissioners were present.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Motion

Ms. Fauci moved to approve the Minutes of May 18, 2011.  Mr. Augsburger seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

President Anderson asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Minutes.  All Commissioners present voted yea.  Motion carried unanimously.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

Motion

            Mrs. Turner moved to approve the agenda and Mrs. DeFauw seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

President Anderson asked for a voice vote on the approval of the agenda.  All Commissioners present voted yea.  Motion carried unanimously.

BUSINESS

Claims

Motion

Ms. Fauci moved to approve the current month Claims in the amount of $22,269.04. Payroll Charges in the amount of $34,402.04 representing current claims and monies paid during the previous month that were not part of last month’s report, totaling $56,671.08.  Mrs. Tobias seconded the motion.                                                   

Roll Call Vote

1.             President Anderson called for a roll call vote on the Claims.  Those Commissioners voting yea were Mr. Emerson, Ms. Fauci, Mr. Foster, Mrs. Fullerton, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Hulseberg, Mr. Newport, Mr. Oncken, Mr. Reid, Mr. Stoddard, Mrs. Turner, Mr. Tyson, Ms. Vary, Mrs. Allen, Ken Andersen, Mr. Augsburger, Mr. Brown, Mr. Cribben, Mrs. DeFauw, Mr. Deverell and President Anderson.  One Commissioner, Mrs. Tobias, was not present.  All Commissioners present voted yea.  Motion carried.

            There were no items of old business or new business.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion

Mr. Augsburger moved to adjourn the meeting and Mr. Tyson seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

President Anderson called for a voice vote on the adjournment.  All Commissioners present voted yea.  Motion carried unanimously.
