COUNTY FOREST PRESERVE PROCEEDINGS

September 21, 2011

The DeKalb County Forest Preserve District Commissioners met in regular session at the Legislative Center Wednesday, September 21, 2011. President Anderson called the meeting to order and the Secretary called the roll. Those Commissioners present were Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Hulseberg, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Newport, Mr. Reid, Mr. Stoddard, Mrs. Tobias, Mrs. Turner, Mr. Tyson, Ms. Vary, Mr. Whelan, Mrs. Allen, Ken Andersen, Mr. Augsburger, Mr. Brown, Mr. Cribben, Mrs. DeFauw, Mr. Deverell, Mr. Emerson, Ms. Fauci, Mr. Foster and President Anderson. Twenty two Commissioners, Mrs. Fullerton and Mr. Oncken were absent. Twenty two Commissioners were present and two were absent.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion
Ms. Fauci moved to approve the Minutes of August 17, 2011. Mrs. Tobias seconded the motion.

Voice Vote
President Anderson asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Minutes. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Motion
Mr. Stoddard moved to approve the agenda and Mr. Whelan seconded the motion.
Motion to Amend
Ms. Fauci moved to amend the agenda by adding Resolution R2011-62: To Place the FY2012 Forest Preserve District's Budget On File for Public Viewing, also adding Ordinance 2011-11: To Place the FY2012 Annual Appropriation on File for Public Viewing. Mr. Stoddard seconded the motion.

Voice Vote
President Anderson asked for a voice vote on the approval of the agenda as Amended. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

BUSINESS

Resolution R2011-62: To Place the FY2012 Forest Preserve District's Budget On File for Public Viewing
Motion
Ms. Fauci moved to approve the Resolution to place DeKalb County's Forest Preserve District FY2012 Budget on file for Public Viewing in the County Clerk's Office, on the County's Internet Site, and two other geographically diverse public offices (The Sandwich City Hall and the Office of the Genoa City Clerk) for public inspection. Mrs. Turner seconded the motion.

Voice Vote
President Anderson called for a voice vote on the Resolution. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

Ordinance 2011-11: To Place the FY2012 Annual Appropriation on File for Public Viewing
Motion
Ms. Fauci moved to place the DeKalb County Forest Preserve's Annual Appropriation on File for Public Viewing in the County Clerk's Office, on the County's Internet Site, and two other geographically diverse public offices (The Sandwich City Hall and the Office of the Genoa City Clerk) for public inspection. Mr. Gudmunson seconded the motion.

President Anderson called for a voice vote on the Resolution. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously

Claims
Motion
Ms. Fauci moved to approve the current month Claims in the amount of $24,592.60. Payroll Charges in the amount of $34,818.01 representing current claims and monies paid during the previous month that were not part of last month's report, totaling $59,410.61. Mrs. Turner seconded the motion.

President Anderson called for a roll call vote on the Claims. Those Commissioners voting yea were Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Hulseberg, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Newport, Mr. Reid, Mr. Stoddard, Mrs. Tobias, Mrs. Turner, Mr. Tyson, Ms. Vary, Mr. Whelan, Mrs. Allen, Ken Andersen, Mr. Augsburger, Mr. Brown, Mr. Cribben, Mrs. DeFauw, Mr. Deverell, Mr. Emerson, Ms. Fauci, Mr. Foster and President Anderson. All Commissioners voted yea. Motion carried.

There were no items of old business or new business.

Mr. Tyson moved to adjourn the meeting and Mr. Deverell seconded the motion.

President Anderson called for a voice vote on the adjournment. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.
