The DeKalb County Forest Preserve District Commissioners met in regular session at the Legislative Center Wednesday, August 15, 2011. President Anderson called the meeting to order and the Secretary called the roll. Those Commissioners present were Ms. Vary, Mr. Whelan, Mrs. Allen, Mr. Andersen, Mr. Augsburger, Mr. Brown, Mr. Cribben, Mrs. DeFauw, Ms. Fauci, Mr. Foster, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Hulseberg, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Newport, Mr. Oncken, Mr. Reid, Mr. Stoddard, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Tyson and Chairman Anderson. Those absent were Mr. Deverell, Mr. Emerson, Mrs. Fullerton and Mrs. Turner. Twenty Commissioners were present and four were absent.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Motion

Ms. Fauci moved to approve the Minutes of June 20, 2012. Mr. Oncken seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

President Anderson asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Minutes. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

Motion

Mr. Whelan moved to approve the agenda and Mrs. Tobias seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

President Anderson asked for a voice vote on the approval of the agenda. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

BUSINESS

Claims

Motion

Ms. Fauci moved to approve the July Claims in the amount of $42,944.51 August Claims in the amount of $33,424.07. July's Payroll Charges in the amount of $37,864.18 and August's Payroll Charges in the amount of $36,173.86 representing current claims and monies paid during the previous month that were not part of last month's report for July totaling $80,808.69 and August totaling $69,415.93. Mr. Augsburger seconded the motion.

President Anderson called for a roll call vote on the Claims. Those Commissioners voting yea were Ms. Vary, Mr. Whelan, Mrs. Allen, Mr. Andersen, Mr. Augsburger, Mr. Brown, Mr. Cribben, Mrs. DeFauw, Ms. Fauci, Mr. Foster, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Hulseberg, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Newport, Mr. Oncken, Mr. Reid, Mr. Stoddard, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Tyson and President Anderson. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.
